Description

Multiple serious vulnerabilities have been found in Apple iTunes. Malicious users can exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code and obtain sensitive information.

Below is a complete list of vulnerabilities:

  1. An access issue can be exploited remotely to execute arbitrary code with system privileges;
  2. An out-of-bounds read in libxml2 component can be exploited remotely via a specially XML document to obtain sensitive information;
  3. Multiple memory corruption vulnerabilities in WebKit, WebKit Page Loading and WebKit Web Inspector components can be exploited remotely via a specially designed web content to execute arbitrary code;
  4. A memory initialization issue in WebKit component can be exploited remotely to obtain sensitive information.
