Description
Programs covered by this behaviour are used to communicate in Internet Relay Chat and are not malicious programs. They are, however, detected because malicious users frequently exploit their extended functions. Malicious programs can be used to install Client-IRC on user computers for malicious purposes.
If a user has installed such a program on his/her computer, or if it was installed by a system administrator, then it does not pose any threat.
