Multiple vunlerabilities in Microsoft Internet Explorer and Edge

Beschreibung

Multiple serious vulnerabilities have been found in Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer. Malicious users can exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code, perform privilege escalation and obtain sensitive information.

1. An information disclosure vulnerabilities can be exploited remotely via speculative execution side-channel attack to obtain sensetive information;
2. Multiple scripting engine memory corruption vulnerabilities in Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Internet Explorer can be exploited remotely via a specially designed website to execute arbitrary code;
3. Multiple information disclosure vulnerabilities in Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Internet Explorer can be exploited remotely via a specially designed website to obtain sensitive information;
4. An elevation of privilege vulnerability in Microsoft Edge can be exploited remotely via a specially designed website to perform privilege escalation.

All Kaspersky Lab business and consumer products are compatible with the update.
