Description

Trojan-IM programs are designed to steal user account data (logins and passwords) for instant messaging programs (such as ICQ, MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Pager, Skype, etc.) The data that is found is then transmitted to the malicious user controlling the Trojan. Email, FTP, the web (including data in a request), or other methods may be used to transit the stolen data.
