DoS.Generic.SYNFlood is a type of DoS attack that consumes all available resources of a server with the aim of making the server unavailable for legitimate traffic. By repeatedly sending an initial connection request (SYN), the attacker can overload all available ports of the target server, thus slowing down or preventing a server response to legitimate traffic.
